ABOUT US

Bikers. Lawyers. Simple as that really.

We're doing things a little different at TheBikerLawyers. Read on to find out about who we are, and how we fight for you.

ABOUT US

So, who are we?

Our lead solicitor Fergus Dalgarno and our business development manager Phil Paxton have worked together both on and off their bikes for years. With many, many decades of riding experience between them (don't tell them I said that) and nearly as long helping out the biker community, they made the perfect pair to launch this new era with The Biker Lawyers. As passionate lifelong riders themselves, they - and all of us here - are all too aware of the challenges facing riders on both the roads and the courtrooms. We want to help not only get you back on your bike, but make the biking community be the best it possibly can be. Whether that's fighting to win you the compensation you deserve or dragging ourselves up Oliver's Mount on a wet and windy afternoon, we're dedicated to bikers through and through.

Do I have a claim?

Without the facts nobody can know - so pick up the phone or drop us an email and we'll give you a hand. We've had clients think an accident was their fault when in reality they had a viable claim, so it's always worth asking us.

How long does a claim take?

If your injuries are fairly minor, the driver admits liability and their insurance company are rasonable then 6 months is a realistic timeline. Having all three of those is rare though - if you need rehab, or your injuries are serious, or the driver and insurers are arguing about fault then it can take longer. We handle this on a case by case basis so give us a ring and we'll be able to give you a better idea.

How much compensation will I receive?

There are lots of companies who put compensation calculators on their website. They're pretty much always wrong. Get in touch with us and, when we know about your case, we'll be able to give you an estimate.

How much will it cost me?

At The Biker Lawyers we work on a conditional fee basis - basically no-win no-fee. If you win, we receieve a percentage of the damages. If you lose, we simply don't get paid. It's good for us both if you win, so we're not in the business of losing.

How do I start a claim?

Whether you want to start a new claim with us or transfer an ongoing claim from your current solicitors, it starts the same: a conversation. Give us a call or drop us an email and we'll call you when it's convenient for you. You get to know us, we get to know you, and then we'll get started together.

I think my current solicitor isn't doing things right, what can I do?

The majority of solicitors will allow you to transfer your claim to another solicitor. Get in touch and let us know and we'll get it sorted, it's usually pretty easy.
